Check out this segment from KOMO 4 news where our Superfund Manager James Rasmussen was interviewed together with community leader Luz Maria from South Park : “Luz Maria Cardenas, who lives in the South Park area, has resided there for 11 years and said she loves fishing. She is hopeful that the ongoing cleanup of the Lower Duwamish Waterway will one day let her enjoy the river more, adding that she would love to be able to swim in the water with her children but cannot because of the industrial contamination in the water.”
